About Azteca Boxing Club

Located in the beautiful city of Bell, CA the Azteca Boxing Club was established in 1980, over 3 decades ago and has always been family owned. Founded by Arturo Mota Sr and currently owned and managed by younger son Danny Mota, the Azteca Boxing Club has grown immensely and continues to "Shaping Champions since 1980".

The club aims to keep tackling the strict discipline of boxing. It has always focused its efforts towards building a relationship with the community by keeping children, youth and at-risk young adults off the streets by providing a place of comfort and attraction for practice of the sport.

Equiped with an official Olympic size boxing ring and over 20 punching bags, any where from uppercut bags to tear drop heavy bags. Speed bags are also available for the use of training at the Azteca, as are two sections equiped with double end bags set at different heights. The club also counts with a full functional weight room section which expands its boxing functionalities and creates an atmosphere for those who seek options within their physical needs.

The Azteca Boxing Club has been used as a training facility for many world known Champions from across the World. Fighters such as Julio Cesar Chavez, Genaro 'Chicanito' Hernandez, Hector 'Macho' Camacho, Jorge 'Maromeo' Páez, Kina Malpartida, and Giovanni Segura to name a few.
