All three with unique power and skill, these three youth boxing prospects, managed by Azteca Promotions

TIJUANA, Mexico - All three with unique power and skill, these three youth boxing prospects, managed by Azteca Promotions, will be stepping into the ring once again this upcoming September 20. The event is being promoted by Promociones Zanfer, the largest Mexican promotion organization, which will highlight the fight between Orlando Salido (41-12-2, 28 KO’s) and Terdsak Kokietgym (53-4-1, 33 KO’s) for the WBO Super Featherweight title.

Alejandro‘Cobrita’ Gonzalez (23-1-2, 15 KO’s), Pedro ‘Lil Pete’ Duran (7-0, 5 KO’s) and Christian ‘Chimpa’ Gonzalez (6-0, 6 KO’s) will travel south of the Mexico border and into Tijuana, Baja California for another mega event held at the Auditorio Municipal Fausto Gutiérrez Moreno.

Cobrita will be making his second appearance after a tough unanimous decision loss to Juan Alberto ‘Topo’ Rosas early in April of this year. He looks to comeback as he prepares for a shot at a world title in the near future.

Lil Pete will be taking on Edgar ‘Piernas’ Ahumada (3-4, 0 KO’s) as he will be making his 8th appearance as a professional fighter since his debut early in February 2013. This will be his 4th appearance in Tijuana, Mexico as he looks to continue his undefeated streak.

Chimpa will now be taking on Santos Rosales (3-3, 0 KO’s) since he was last expected to fight in Mexico City on September 6 when his opponent was disqualified due to pre-health issues. Chimpa has fought all of his 6 pro fights in the border city of Tijuana as he makes his 7th appearance before his fans in a city that knows him well.

“We return to Tijuana in yet another great card where we will be able to showcase the young talent we carry with Azteca Promotions as we have always worked well with Promociones Zanfer”, expressed Azteca Promotions CEO, Richard Mota. “This will be no exception as all three fighters have their own unique skill set. They will show just that on September 20”.
